BreadTime is under active development. Here's the direction we're heading — no promised dates, just where the app is going.
When an admin adds a new team member, we want them to activate their account through a click-through link in their welcome email — and have that activation be what automatically slots them into the bread schedule, instead of someone having to assign their first date by hand.
Paste a list of teammate emails and a recurring weekday (e.g. "every Friday") to generate a whole schedule in one go, instead of adding entries one at a time.
Schedules will be aware of public holidays, so bread duty doesn't land on a day nobody's in the office.
For larger organizations, we're looking at letting you split your team into departments (and sub-departments), so bigger organizations can keep schedules organized by group instead of one long shared list.
Let each organization set which day of the week is their standard bread day, instead of it being fixed — so the schedule matches how your team actually works.
Let two team members swap their assigned dates directly — handy when someone's on holiday or just wants to trade turns with a colleague.
